Hi, I'm Martine Braathen

I’m a 23-year-old master’s student in service and interaction design at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design. I’m passionate about exploring how design can create meaningful change by connecting people, systems, and technology. Originally from Moss, a small city just south of Oslo, I’ve always been drawn to design, architecture, and art. That curiosity led me to pursue my studies at AHO, where I’ve developed a strong interest in human-centered and systemic approaches to design.

As a designer, I combine empathy, creativity, and systems thinking to navigate complex challenges. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines, facilitating co-creation processes, and translating insights into thoughtful, impactful solutions. With strong research and communication skills, I focus on building trust and creating experiences that truly resonate with the people they’re designed for.

At the core of my work is a genuine desire to design for others; to contribute in ways that are responsible, meaningful, and lasting.
